Prize "Manuel de Huelva" in the National Competition of Flamenco in Córdoba (1983) and National Guitar Prize awarded by the Department of Flamenco in Jerez de la Frontera (1983).

José Luis Postigo is the guitarist most requested by professional artists to the accompaniment of singing and dancing.

His discography is extensive and has acted alone and as part of several companies in stages on four continents.

He has recorded with Antonio el Arenero, José Mercé, Fernanda y Bernarda, Chocolate, Miguel Vargas, Naranjito de Triana, Luis Caballero, etc..

He currently directs the Guitar Area Cristina Heeren Foundation of Flamenco Art.
